The Purpose of the Learning & Development function
What does your business require from the Learning & Development function? We explore the fundamentals of learning within organisations by understanding what is required of it and what it is able to deliver. We will focus on what it means to work as a “Business Partner” and learning & development is critical to the success of the organisation.
Where are we now?
What is a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and how do we conduct one? A comprehensive LNA takes time to conduct so once it’s done how will we make best use of the results and use them to engender buy in within the organisation?
Where do we need to be?
What will be the best learning solutions for the organisation? We will explore the vast array of learning methods available and understand how to assess each one for “best fit” within the organisation. We will identify exactly what is meant by the term “blended learning” and how that can be put to best use.
Demonstrating the ROI of Learning & Development
How do we evaluate learning and development and demonstrate its ROI (Return on Investment)? Evaluating the impact of effective learning can become time consuming if not approached properly. We will explore simple yet effective methods for demonstrating the impact of learning and development on the bottom line of the business.
